Mary's Christmas everyone!

pheW,just got home from a whole day of house visiting~! *dead-tired

Okie.. here to blog down wadeva that haf happened from christmas eve till presently.. Ready???

On 24/12/03 at 1.35pm.. my godsister Denise, came over for some cuzy bonding session, also to wish my mom (her Godma) & my dad Merry Christmasy! okie.. afterwhich we started chatting and u noe la when girls are together, they can haf endless topics to chat about.. *self-amazed If felt so good, just to know more abt my cousin.. how her life has been.. each of us have been busy with our own stuffs.. for me it will be union matters and her.. she is working part-time. The surprise! Came at abt 5pm, 24/12/03. When i received a msg frm "don tell you", it said "the fedex man has left something for you at ur doorstep, go get it quick!" Upon receiving this msg, i really freak out and just stoned for a good whole minute, before my mind told me "go check quick!" As i opened the dOor.. tA dAa! There really really really was a bag of gifts, a rose, a message in the bottle and a card. I was feeling two emotions, happy (surprised) & freaky (scared). It's the 2nd time i've received gifts thru this method.. BUT, i appreciate the gesture tho'. *not going into the details abt the rest.. wanna noe? ask me k? see if i'll tell you.. LaLalalaz...

At 6.30pm, my relatives start arriving, family by family. tOnnes of Huggies and smiles and greetings and kiSses were exchanged! 7pm sharp, everyone present, the family dinner started! there were a total of 18 persons present for the dinner.. so we had 2 tables and spilt up 9 pax on each side.. cousins (younger generation) ONE table and our aunts and uncles and grandma on the SECOND table. Makan-ing lasted for about 1 1/2hrs... two words to describe the food "deliciously shiOok"!

Party continued.. there were several activities going on at the sama time.. "the younger generation" played Pictionary the board game, game of quick draw! This game is so so fun! Some chatting, others watching tv, the rest getting ready for the musical instruments for Christmas songs, that we were gonna sing at 10.30pm right up to midnight!

That was roughly how the party went on Christmas Eve 2003.

Christmas Day 25/12/2003.

Woke up early to prepare for church mass.. to attend the 9.30am mass @ Holy Trinity Church. The mass lasted till abt 10.45am.. went home to change into my christmas dress... NO! Not wot u're thinking.. it's not the "christmas-tree alike" costumes.. its a red white sundress.. ALSO, realised that my whole family, dad, mom and me were dressed up as if i was CHINESE NEW YR.. red and white combo. Or maybe also can be counted as Singapore national daY! *heeez

Went to my grandaunt's house at bukit timah... She's the best peranankan nonya chef around.. she cooks the most sedaP(delicious) peranankan dishes.. really really the BesT! very lemAk(tasty) As Carrie Chong would say " i give grandaunt's dishes 5 popcorns! heee =P Ate about 3 servings of rice.. together with a wide spread table of food.. Enjoy as much while u can.. and appreciate everything that you haf now!

Be it, your internet connection, the water at home, your bed, parents, siblings, grandma, grandpa, grandaunt, granduncle... etc.. the list can go on and on. As all of know.. Health is the most important.. with good health, everything is possible. Why do i say this, at this point of time, some people in the world are sticken with cancer, or illness, dying, suffering some unknown diseases. Do not wait for such things to happen before you cherish your loved ones, tell dem how much you love dem and thank dem for everything.. care and concern is to SHOW, do not be afraid or embarrassed or you might come to regret it. --> quoted from gracesolophy (",)

For dinner, we went to another aunt's place for dinner.. this time WEstern menu. In this house, we would have a wide spread and table full of western dishes.. german hotdogs, big fat juicy tender tUrkey, paired up with wines and champagnes.. of cos these are not all.. they are more but too many to type out la.. chatted with a couple of my long lost and "never knew i had" cousins.. sounds quite ridicule for past 18 yrs didn't knew abt dem.. WELL.. better late den never! Played with my small cute little cousins... tell u hor.. they are really so cute and pretty.. huggable kids.. (",) sometimes i wished i had a lil' sister or brother to play with.. i'm the youngest and i've an older brother whois 4 yrs older den me.. so sometimes i wanna "relive my childhood" no one to play with me.. haha! *sounds like 5 yr old mei mei hor.. okie GRaCe grOw uP!!!

The christmas gifts i received this yr, so fast is the best! YOu noe why? cos apparently what my aunts and uncles got for me are things that i need... like hand and nail cream moisturizer together with a set of stuffs from Marks and Spencer.. Make-uP cosmestic kit.. new colours dat are refreshing eTc... things that i really really need.. so gam gam hor!

Wanna end this blog entry today with a prayer "Thank you heavenly Father for sending down your beloved Son Jesus to suffer and die for us so that we may have eternal life.
