bAck frOm CaMp~!!!

The past few days had been a mixture of feelings.

2tbsp of excitment,
1tbsp of exhaustion,
1tbsp of satisfaction,
a dash of happiness
garnished with a tender loving cares.


Gist of the days:

Thursday - Day ONE of OTC Camp

My empire was - TainO (Good people)
Total strength of 24 GLs.
The day started off on relax mode...
we did mass ice-breaking,
individual empire ice-breaking,
practised cheers,
set GOALS (initiativesness, attitude and responsiblity - the three most impt. factors as a GL)
went out to Tampines central for night games
back to sch for mass debrief, followed by empire debrief, main com de-brief (3 de-briefs everyday)
everything for us (main coms) ended abt 3am.

-First day, my empire wasn't hype up yet... friendships have only started...

Friday - Day TWO of OTC Camp

woked up at 630am, to get ready for morning fitness at 7am
its been a long long time since i woked up that early.. in addition.. doing morning exercise at freaking 7am.. haha the last time i remembered was last yr's OTC camp too.. ha!
taught GL's sch song, (yes! that's right u heard correctly, TP has sch song.. hahA!)
Mass Dance.. the dance that EVERY TP student must must noe... *new age girl
station games ard the school... the weather was super hOt... at the station netball court.. tell u ah.. it was so hot that the minute u step out into the sun.. u ACTUALLy perspire.. almost simulataneously *cannot tahan
Performance night.. each empire had to come out with something to perform for everyone to see... *rhythms are the in-thing now! something like Stomp... commendable efforts!
day ended at 4am... slept abt 2 1/2 hrs..

-Taino, bonded even better (supposingly was through the ghost stories told by Marcus the night before), the communications links, initiativeness were emerging in each of dem..

Day Three - Last Day of OTC Camp

7am.. there i was at the Track.. doing morning PT~! aH!!! but surprisingly.. i was quite hype up... haha thanks to Nadia, Stacie, Jac and Elaine... we did the elephant walk back ways... cheered ourselves on the track.. Seibirt Eh-Bah Cheers! haha... after 3 days of being together with them.. bonds have definitely grown stronger... sitting together, talking together, eating together and cheering together have almost become a habit everyday for each day! *thanks so much girls... love u girls~!!!
Taino and other empires went off their own.. for carnival games. Again all of us girls... sat ard, and started singing songs, started our own long cheer sequence to rA-rA the GL's.. went back to lounge.. and started practising our cheers again! Embarked on our Mission "Admin"! cheered very loudly and recalled hard all the cheers we had learnt... sO MuCh FuN~! but the thing with us is.. we need to cheer in order to stay awake.. cos once we stop cheering.. ahaha.. that's it.. all of us feel like sleeping..
Afternoon.. went opposite school for more Games...
Last activity of the camp Final Clash... although Taino was the 2nd empire to be eliminated.. but i applaud them for sportsmanship spirit, with the right attitude... things weren't wholely their fault.. however... lessons were picked up from it... *Cheers to TaiNo, i proud of u~!
For the last time, we cheered, sang and danced! Photo-taking session
Ended everything again.. with mass de-brief, empire de-brief and main-com de-brief.
HEaded to CPF building... actually could haf reached earlier abt 1105pm.. BUT... some "peeps" forgot abt me, stacie and edwin! (shan't mention the names) we were like practically like siao ting tongs.. running after the bus and shouting "wait wait wait!" haha... come to think of it.. u guys rOcks la.

-Definitely memories of taino will be imprinted in my heart forever. the friendships i share with Taino and main-coms have blossomed, the understanding of one another have up another level... i've learnt alot from this camp, good and bad. These feedbacks would only help in shaping me into a better person.
