AND once again, its my OFF day. currently, in the lounge waiting for Leadership Training Camp programmes to start. doing ALP later, its going to be my 5th time but everytime with different ppl, different styles of working. looking forward to check out the rest of the leaders from other clubs. =)
the recent weeks have been nothing short of enriching and fufilling! i'm beginning to love and enjoy what i do everyday. but gotta confess, the trip to work is and will always be dreadful HOWEVER when i start work i look forward to the next day. for this week i've been on the afternoon shift, having alot more resident contact, something that i enjoy alot, interacting =) seeing familiar faces back in Raffles again, welcoming them back with sunshine smile and just taking good care of dem taking down their preferences. getting to noe dem more and more, what they did for the day, what plans they haf for the evenings and whether i could help with any city tour or dinner reservations, high tea etc... and really i can't believe dat everything is going so well for me in my internship. Thank GOD!
my shoutouts go to my friends on SIP, life isn't always a bed of roses. however it's through the obstacles and "shit" that we get that we GROW stronger, mentally and experience. my plea to all, never give up no matter what! my source of motivation comes from those who want me to fall, the more i'll survive and outshine dem all these this may sound very competitive. BUT WELCOME TO THE WORKING WORLD. i realised that especially in the hospitality line, its either u MAKE it for BREAK it. in the sense, make it means to survive the shit work and all obstacles in the intial phrase to be acknowledge of ur work and calibre that would the best thing! it shows ur determination, will power, confidence in this way u noe u haf made something out of this bumpy experience. *Hang On!
