its been a busy busy busy week

on wednesday, had to go for a Peranakan Dinner over at Meritus Mandarin Hotel together with my parents. for the 1st time in my life, i wore a sarong kabaya! true blue nonya! =) i lurve the flower patterns on the kebaya, its whitish and orange/pink flowers... very pretty combination.
you noe the Singapore idol contestant Chris? also known as Chrissypoo.. donno why.. but newaez, he was at the dinner too.. he's a perankan. okie this was what happened, we got out of the lift and saw him, so my mom went " isn't that chris?" i went "ya.. so?" haha.. after some time, again our path met, and my mom called out "Hi Chris", sounds as if her friend kinda tone.. so embarrasing.. she added on "can WE take a photo with you?" he said "sure why not!" my mom went "grace GO" in my mind i was like "WHAT!" and yah.. "cheese!" we took a photo together. so pai seh u noe. while at the dinner saw some of my hospi and tourism cohort mates, shu jun and liang shan, what a small world! hee.. =)

Friday, i worked the ENTIRE day frm 7am to 11pm. i was so so so so so tired... really... actually supposed to start work at 9am, but blur me thot it was 7am to 9pm schedule. when i reached work, i looked at the rooming list, i realised one of my guests Mr and Mrs Filtness was checking in to Raffles in the afternoon, i was so excited! cos, seldom that i serve the gsts would come back so quickly. i remembered they stayed at suite 127, would call for ldy pick up in the morning, they like drinking english breakfast tea or jasmine tea with sugar bowl at the side, enjoy white wine in the evening etc... however when they checked in i missed welcoming them at the doorstep but terence got their welcome drink order, which was english breakfast tea. so i quickly prepared and went their suite. i pressed the door bell "Room valet!" and when Mr Filtness opened the door he went "Hi Grace! good to see you again!" i was so surprised and amazed and elated that they remembered my name and said hi before me... i felt so good! =) newaez they are back home already at london... till we meet again. it's been a pleasure to me.

saturday, my cousin's Leslie wedding day. woke up like 8am in the morning to prepare to attend the tea ceremony. reached his place at 915am... waited for my grandma "empress dowager" so that we could begin the tea ceremony. after which went to school for the 1st dinner and dance main com meeting, which went very very well. i'm very happy with the ideas that haf been coming out, most important thing is i can trust my members. TP annual dinner and dance will be a BLAST! calling out to all TP students to stay Tune for more information =) if u like to noe more, enquiries, pls email me at tpsu_fin@yahoo.com.sg meeting ended like 515pm. went home to change and prepare for the wedding dinner.. over at Phoenix ballroom, very sweet couple! haha..

sunday, my brother's birthday. woke up at 10am to go for the 11am mass at holy trinity. after which together with the whole family went to Goodwood park hotel Shima restaurant for lunch, very good meal! didn't eat my dinner tonight, still very full. the sashimi, beef, were fantastic. tender, fresh and delicious! went to my cousin's junior hotel for a while, gym workou for abt 30mins. proceeded to marina square golden village to watch the sneak previews of The Incredibles, very good cartoon show! entertaining yet good story plot, pretty characters and amazing effects. must watch movie! after which, went to takashimaya to shop, Zara. went to meet my another cousin Jacq and her bf at Marche at Heerens. drank soup only.. was still ver full.

i had a good time! fantabulous =) i thank God for giving me a wonderful family, friends, colleagues. Praise God =)
