KL Trip

I'M BACK~!!!

it was so fun!
lemme see.. if i can recall where we went.

Monday
-8am bus departs from Le Meridien Hotel for KL. Reached the checkpoint only abt 9-ish. and before we noe it, we are at the malaysia customs. i got STOPPED and questioned. the immigration officer asked me what my name was, and i replied Kiong Min Li Grace Katherine. and he replied "this pic does not look like you" i replied "it was 5yrs ago." and he said "*pointing to my passport, this girl in the pic still schooling-looking" what a broken english that was! lols.. that's not the point. after which he pointed and looked at me, he said "you can get married already!" and he laughs! what sia!!!!!!!! excuse me.. i'm on 19yrs!

We reached KL only at 245pm. Was stucked in the jam for 1hrs plus! sucked man... becos of road works and all. Destination reached Hotel Istana, KL. pretty cool hotel, but the service sucks to the core, takes them like 5 hours to send another bed to the room.. before that they called asking if they could deliver the BABY COT! there isn't any babies travelling with us. Ah!!!!! newaez, my cousins illiana, jac and i shared a room. =) yeah

We went to visit batiks shops, some animal skin shops where they used them to make bags, and lastly chocolate shops. i'm so sure the bus driver would earn commisssion frm our purchases. those places were a bore! we were starving, den the driver insist on going to them. *fed up man

Made our way to Mid Valley Shopping centre, the BEST shopping place for us! young adults, the shops are more trendier, hippier and etc... ha!

Cuz illiana and i wanted to go to the ladies, we had to walk through this stretch of shops, on the way, we came across this shop named "i love house", we peeped inside, we saw these "nice packages, lollipop lookings" with humorous words and attractive colours. without hesistation, we went in to take a look. So we each picked one,and read the label "For my Best Friend, the best gift!" the words were so sweet... in my mind i was thinking "i want to get a few for my friends" so i turned around a noticed it was wierd looking OH MY GOODNESS to my horror, it was a CONDOM! *so so so embarrassing... inside all the sales assistants were guys.. AH!!! luckily i don live in malaysia or else they would recognised me! who in the world would have thot this shop " i Love House" would be a condom shop selling more i tink.. but didn't see. (blurish!)

At night, we went to chinatown for dinner as well to visit the flea markets. chinatown was soo soo crowded. Flea markets were abundant, had to squeeze through the crowds. and oh boy, i'm so glad i took negotiation and dispute resolution as my extra subject. it came into GOOD USE... i bargained and bargained, setting a bottom line. wahaha.. 1/3 of the price! EVERYONE listen here, if ya going to malaysia, the price they set are HIKEd up so high, normally it cost only 1/3 of the price. so... don get cheated if they claimed they are not making a profit. total bull****. =X

Tuesday

Had the FAMOUS Ampang yong tau fu for lunch. it was heavenly~!
Went over to Lot 10 for more shopping, got tis pretty limited editions Papillon sandals. super nice! love it. after which went over to KLCC for more shopping, its situated in btw the Petronas Twin Tower.High end shopping. Expensive and all despite all the sales that are going on.
Night, we went to the markets around our hotel. The cuzzies chatted till abt 3am in the morning.. talked abt our lives and all.

Wednesday

We went to sungei wang shopping centre, around our hotel vacinity. in the search for cheap shoes, fake ones of cos. but to no avail. after which boarded the bus at abt 230pm back to S'pore.

Today's NEW YEAR EVE!

gonna have a dinner over at my place.
after which most prob gonna countdown at one of the clubs with my cuzzies!
