At 1245am, the revealing of our new POPE!
in less than 24 hours, 115 cardinals voted in the conclave for the 256th pontiff.

Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger from Germany is our POPE!
the took the papal name as Pope Benedict XVI.
As i followed closely the revealing of the new pope,
i can't help but recalled back 5 years ago,
i was standing at the exact same spot,
attending the sunday mass where the late Pope John Paul gave his sermon.

and now.. i wished i was back there. welcoming the new POPE!
St Peter's Basillica is a really great amazing peaceful place.
100,000 people gathered there... amazing!
as you see the endless no. of people streaming into the church grounds.

Congratulations to the 1.1 billion catholics around the world. We have a new Pope!
