ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR A JOB

that's right!
its time that i look for a job,
something that i like,
enjoy doing,
love doing,
smile while doing it,
something as my career.

my parents in particular - my mother,
has been 'nagging' day and night,
about flipping the newspaper recruits section,
searching online on jobsdb,
telling me to have a sense of urgency,
to stop wasting time at home,
and start job-hunting.

i don't know why,
but this time around,
job searching seems much more difficult,
i'm not looking for a job for a short-term basis,
i'm not just looking for a job to fill my time,
but i'm looking for a job that will spearhead my career.

not only these - but also financial management,
not company's,
but my own finances,
ensuring enough savings,
enough to spend,
enough for insurance premiums,
enough for this and that,
and all these are just the start of it,
my life has just started!
