HOUSEKEEPING AT RAFFLES

My goodness,
my goodness,
if there is one thing i've improved through this week,
its gotta be my chinese!

Seriously,
i've been speaking in chinese so often,
that my fellow comrades understand what i'm saying,
yes, i'm talking about people from china or taiwan.

Then again,
if my "trainers" were to see this they will probably be disappointed,
i give housekeeping no justice at all.

Housekeeping is everything,
the suite looks a mess w/o housekeeping,
the suite will be dusty w/o housekeeping,
being there for almost a week,
opened my eyes to many things,
how they are treated by other departments,
their attention to detail - adhering to quality standards and consistency,
unwillingly breathing in the dust balls,
most importantly their dedication to their job,
their effort to the hotel is highly admirable!

Room attendants deserve dignity, deserve respect and deserve our applause,
along the corridor,
just greeting them brightens their day,
thanking them after they helped you will be very much appreciated,
these intrinsic values should be practised amongst us, hoteliers, daily.

A wonderful week (",)
