Jimmy Buffett - In Residence at Raffles Hotel

During the course of this busy week,

lydia and i got to be at service to Mr Buffett as his personal butlers,

altho' he didn't call for our service much,

it felt great taking care of this celebrity,

and what's more he is so humble and friendly and such a joker.

it was a real joy to have him.

It has always been his dream for 40 years to perform at the Long Bar,

on the 25th January 2008 he performed with his band Live at the Long Bar,

oh boy it was so cool looking at him perform & what's more 

his lyrics were hilarious, one of the titles "Cheeseburger in Paradise",

best part he told his assistant "Charlie" to help get us in and have a spot for us to watch him,

how nice of him.

in the end we sneaked in from the back door and enjoy part of his 

performances behind swinging door at the Long Bar.

At the end of his stay,

we had the privilege to take a photo with him,

shook his hands and bid goodbye.
