at this point of time, exactly 365 days before... i was counting down to my 18th birthday at Downtown east chalet resort.. in the company of my family, relatives and friends... and now i'm counting down to my 19th birthday! time flies so fast, looking back over the year, definitely i've grown into a stronger person. A person who has ambitions, goals, with the confidence to speak up. Someone that doesn't seemed familiar two years ago.. i can now say that i've grown up!

A birthday isn't complete w/o a self reflection of the past year right?
Over the year, some happy occasions and important decision i made was:

Happy occasion, when i got my last test semester results back, for the first time in my entire life that i got a Z = Distinction. I've never gotten this kinda grade before and it always seemed like a dream, well.. i like everyone to noe. I really thank GOD for this! You reap what u sow.

Next up, this chinese new year. all my cousins were re-united finally. For the 1st time in so so many years (5yrs) that we took a full cousin photo together (exception of my bro (perth) and illiana (cousin in usa). Some of my cousins i haven seen them for so many years, the cousin bond we share are deep, recalling the childhood memories with dem! these memories are forever! When we were young, we played catching, hide-and-seek together etc... and now.. we go to out and chill together, clubs and dance together, shop together! The company is what matters most!

The important decision i made was: To run for elections for Temasek Polytechnic Students' Union Executive Committee. Some of u might think "huh.. is that an important decision?" Well.. to me it was. I knew i had to consider alot of factors, my grades, project meetings, family outings, my life for 1 yr. I knew that studies were my 1st priority... i can't let my parents down and also my kor (the support and confidence they haf in me, i just can't FaiL) being in the union, takes up alot alot and alot of my time and effort. Being at meetings, doing planning of projects etc... thus it was a big decision. As for now, i can safely say that i haf no regrets being in the union... as union has helped shaped my being. independent~!

these are not all... i've learnt alot from others too... how not to take things for granted.. peer pressure.. the importance of good family (*i thank GOD that from the day i was born... i had a good and healthy environment to grow in, parents who are loving and not abusive, parents who are well-mannered rather then shouting in barbaric languages), the advices i received from my DAD and mom especially, never fails to brighten my day and lighten my problems. Cousins and sisters for providing my useful and logically advices.

And also a birthday ain't complete w/o a new birthday resolution:

1. To treat my parents nicer
2. To study harder (more effort in revising)
3. To give my 110% effort in everything and anything i do
4. To pray more often

aha~! there u go.. my resolutions!

In other 15 minutes time, i'll be officially 19 yrs old. yeAy~! I thank all for their best wishes and birthday greetings! appreciate it alot =) hee.. i wish myself Good Health most importantly! And good luck for my future endeavours... haha! *pray hard that i can get to ritz carlton for my SIP! it would be the best giFt!
