just got back from town...
today's my MOMMY's birthday! Woke up early to go for 930am church mass with parentals! followed by lunch at Meritus Mandarin Tripe 3 Buffet Restaurant, the food very very nice! ate all sorts... oysters (for the 1st time i ate oysterS! and 2 oysters to be exact.. super proud of myself.. that i conquer the fear and finally tasted it! *sLurPs) hee.. ate.. salmons, smoked salmon, wot else? hmm... beef, honey baked ham, red mullet, Oysters, desserts (assorted cakes, small pies, chocolates, ice-cream) lots more la.. go try it for urself! for lunch its abt $41 per pax and dinner $52 per pax.

But something rather amusing (at that point of time) happened:
as i said it was my mom's birthday so she had a free complimentary cake from the hotel... so the manager brought the cake to my mom. it was packed in a box at first.. so we asked the manager to give us a plastic bag so that we can carry it more comfortably... so happily my mom and me were waiting for the bag... *our idea of bag... BIG base! not long after, the manager brisked towards us and handed us a long upright paper bag with a SMALL base.. that definitely won't be able to fit in the cake... *in my mind i was like.. how to fit the cake inside??? so, next up the manager took the cake, folded down the box handle, and shoved the cake box into the bag, sidewards... so the next step i was thinking was... he was just going to pass me the cake, and i have to carry it on my arms cos no handles, the handles are at the side.. NEXT thing, i knew, he put the bag upright, which means the cake has all slanted to the side, cos the cake box is I(the I shows upright postion) instead of -- (the -- shows sidewards) Wah piangs... u tell me la... would u ever do that to a cake???
AHHHH~!!! somemore he's a manager... the best thing was.. he handed the bag to me, in the upright position.. so i replied him "excuse me, i think the cake will be squashed.." then the reaction on his face he gave me was "oh yah???" AHHHH!!!!!!!! what in the world is he thinking and doing? for a moment, i just stood there and started laughing... abit brainless and no common sense... somemore manager... aiyohs... aiyohs...

newaez... enuff of that manager!

Went over to paragon, shopped around, hmv and went to catch Butterfly Effect with parentals at cineleisure! good movie... in the midst of the movie i told me parents.. "i'm so confused.. what is it all about?" only until the end.. that i realised the story line.. how dumb right? haha... wells.. that's why i prefer light-hearted movies.. need not think! *i give Butterfly Effect 4 popcorns! haha...

Just got home, and to my surprised i got a birthday gift from dearest kor kor and joanna!!! *so sweet of my bro and jo to remember my birthday.. really really reallly touched! A big shoutout to Kor Kor and Joanna : " Thank you so so so MuCh for the Davidoff Cool Water Perfume!!!! i love it alot and alot and alot and aLot!" *many huggies!!! (",) *i'm so so hAppy!
