DAY 2: Roaming the streets

We were looking to stock up our tibits counter in the hotel,
so we headed to Oriental Plaza just 5 minutes walk from Raffles Beijing,
check out clear blue sky!
When we arrived yesterday it was very hazy and hardly any sunlight could penetrate in thus looked really dreary,
but guess we are lucky!

John (the resident services manager) said "i haven't since sunlight for the past 2 weeks!"

Walking towards Wang Fu Jiang Street - which is the main shopping district here! 1 km of shops/restaurants and entertainment.



Can u see "MAC DONALDS" altho it was written in Chinese,
the colours gave it away Red and Yellow!
I went there to get some food for Imah,
and oh my goodness,
these chinese people cannot WAIT,
while i was queuing,
there were a whole bunch of them crowding so near to me,
virtually could feel their body heat,
worse of all,
all men! yikes!



Streets packed with bicycles!



The Olympic stores are nationwide and are located EVERYWHERE! To collect olympics tickets,
to buy souvenirs and perhaps the 5 olympic mascots "Beibei, JingJing, HuanHuan, YingYing, NiNi" - translated to English means - BeiJing Welcomes You.




Throngs of people and Traffic everywhere
