Day 3: Wang Fu Jing Street - Summer Palace - CCTV

Today was my OFF day!

We had our first taste of "Life in Beijing".
Transporting around in a cab.
Bicycles everywhere!
I have never spoken so much HuaYu in my entire life!
Taxi Drivers, Shopkeepers, Rubbish Collectors, Restaurant Owners!
46 days to go!


We managed to visit the following attractions:

- Wang Fu Jing Street

It is just walking distance from our hotel, about 5 minutes also.
You can find souvenirs, traditional chinese masks, chinese fans, chopsticks, and antique paintings.

The Magnificent Summer Palace


From RH Beijing to Summer Palace took roughly 40 mins by cab, costing abt 53 RMB
Entrance Fee to Summer Palace cost: 30 RMB - SGD$6.

With the fifth attempt of farris to capture this shot, my concern was "please tube don't drop!"



Such a beauty, i could stare at this sight all day.

After Summer Palace, we took a short 10 mins taxi ride to:
CCTV TOWER @ 233metres high
Entrance Fee: 50 RMB

- Olympic hall at 225 metres high Level 19.



- The view from the top was amazing, but sadly my camera died on me so all pics are on my hp and unable to transfer.



Time to bathe,
working early in the morning tomorrow!
